Aurum Crest does not currently set advertising, analytics, social-media or personalisation cookies. The site uses two temporary session-storage values for the 18+ gate and the displayed campaign counter. These values remain in your browser and do not identify you.
1. Scope of this policy
This Cookie Policy applies to galenori.com and the Aurum Crest Casino promotional pages delivered from that domain. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and, if you enter a giveaway, the applicable Official Giveaway Rules.
The policy covers cookies, HTML5 web storage, similar browser technologies and ordinary technical request data. It does not govern cookies placed on a different website after you follow an external link.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies
A cookie is a small text record a website asks a browser to store. A cookie may be returned to the website on later requests. Depending on its purpose and duration, a cookie can support essential functions, remember preferences, measure use or help build an advertising profile.
Session storage
Session storage is a browser feature that lets a website keep small values for the life of a browser tab. Unlike a conventional cookie, session-storage values are not automatically attached to HTTP requests. Browsers normally clear them when the tab closes.
Local storage
Local storage is similar but can remain after the browser closes until it expires or is deleted. Aurum Crest does not currently use local storage.
Pixels, SDKs and fingerprinting
Tracking pixels and software development kits can report visits or interactions to another service. Fingerprinting attempts to distinguish a device using browser and hardware characteristics. Aurum Crest does not currently use tracking pixels, advertising SDKs or fingerprinting techniques.
3. What this website currently uses
The public site is intentionally lightweight. It loads its HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, favicon and manifest from galenori.com. It does not load third-party fonts, analytics scripts, advertising networks, social plug-ins or embedded casino content.
Two values are written to browser session storage:
- an 18+ confirmation so the age prompt does not repeat on every page during the same tab session; and
- the locally displayed entry-counter value so the visual counter remains consistent while you browse.
Neither value contains your name, email, date of birth, IP address, entry form contents or a unique account identifier. They are used only for interface continuity and are not used to make eligibility decisions or determine giveaway winners.

5. Form requests and ordinary server data
Submitting the giveaway form sends the supplied fields directly to the local send.php endpoint on galenori.com. This is a network request, not a cookie. The form request may include ordinary protocol information such as the requesting IP address, browser user-agent, request time, referring page and security headers.
Our hosting environment may create short-term server and security logs to deliver pages, diagnose faults, detect abusive traffic and protect availability. Such logs are operational records rather than browser cookies. Their handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
The site’s age confirmation is not proof of legal age. Giveaway eligibility is based on the entrant’s form declaration and any proportionate winner verification described in the Official Rules.
6. External links and third parties
Legal and responsible-gaming pages link to independent New Zealand organisations. Following one of those links takes you to a different website, which may set its own cookies or use analytics. Aurum Crest does not control those technologies. Review the destination site’s privacy and cookie information before making choices there.
Email links may open the email application configured on your device. Your email provider’s own terms and technologies apply to that service.
7. Your browser choices
You can use your browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and site data. Common controls include:
- deleting stored data for galenori.com;
- blocking all cookies or only third-party cookies;
- opening a private or incognito window;
- disabling JavaScript or browser storage; and
- clearing site data automatically when the browser closes.
Blocking session storage does not prevent you from reading the informational pages. The age prompt may reappear between pages, the visual counter may reset and some interactive behaviour may be less consistent. Disabling JavaScript will prevent the countdown, mobile navigation, client-side form validation and dynamic success state from operating; the server-side form endpoint remains available through standard form submission.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers may send Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. There is no universal DNT response standard. Because this site does not currently use targeted advertising, cross-site profiling or sale/sharing of personal information for advertising, we do not alter site behaviour in response to these signals. If those practices ever change, we will reassess signal handling and provide any choices required by applicable law.
9. Future technologies and policy changes
If we add analytics, preference cookies, embedded services or another browser technology, we will update this inventory before or when the technology is introduced. Where New Zealand law or the nature of a technology requires notice or consent, an appropriate notice and control will be provided.
The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be described prominently on this page. Continued browsing does not override any consent requirement that may apply.
